Dr. Klasko is an author, an entrepreneur, and a believer in the creative and optimistic transformation of healthcare. He has been a CEO, a university president, and a dean of two medical colleges.
He is currently an executive in residence at General Catalyst where he is pursuing his passion to bridge academic health centers with the emerging world of digital medicine and innovation. Dr. Klasko also serves as board chair for DocGo and CMO of Abundant Venture Partners, among other roles.
As CEO of Jefferson Health, he grew the system from $1.5 billion to $9 billion, creating Philadelphia’s largest health system. As president of Thomas Jefferson University, he led a landmark merger praised as a rare success in academia.
An author of five books, including Feelin’ Alright and UnHealthcare, Dr. Klasko has been recognized by Fast Company, Modern Healthcare, and Ernst & Young for his visionary leadership. He resides in Miami with his wife.
